The RAK Clothing Pantry joins hands with Clothesline for Kids.
The RAK PAK is a group of dedicated philanthropic women committed to preforming Random Acts of Kindness. Their first mitzvah project was the Broward County Women’s Philanthropy “ Spring into Style” event, an annual project which provides clothing to women in need.
The RAK PAK has now joined hands with Clothesline for Kids, a joint project of Downtown Jewish Center Chabad and Jewish Family Service of Broward County.
The Clothesline and the ” RAK Clothing Pantry” will provide children and women with FREE clothing they need to help build self respect and dignity.
A warehouse has been designated as the official sight of the RAK Clothing Pantry. The warehouse is neatly filled with organised, sized and labeled clothing. Private appointments are set up with women and families to ensure optimum dignity. There are dressing rooms and volunteers to help assist in the process!
You can help by donating gently used or new women’s or children’s clothing, jewelry, and hand bags in ANY size.
We also need hangers and clothing racks.
If you know someone in need, who can benefit from this mitzvah project please contact Susan Panzer at JFS [email protected] 954,370.2140
