DJCC has been serving the Fort Lauderdale community since 2000. At Downtown Jewish Center Chabad everyone is welcomed as family. Children, adults, singles, couples, young and old feel at home. Our unique approach and unconditional acceptance of every Jew, regardless of affiliation or background, has created a dynamic and flourishing Jewish community. Rabbi Schneur & Devorah Kaplan, emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, founded the Downtown Jewish Center Chabad in 2003. We wholeheartedly believe that children who are drawn into learning through positive experiences in a holistic setting develop a love of learning that they will carry with them throughout their lives.
Our mission is to provide and promote the highest quality Hebrew and Judaic education to a diverse community of Jewish children. Our aim is to nurture and build the foundation of your child’s Jewish identity through our interdisciplinary educational approach. The focus of our dedicated teachers is to inspire a twofold love; a love for
learning and a love for Judaism.
